"Before I light the stove or lay a finger on a skillet, I open my iTunes, pick a perfect mix, and crank up the volume. For me, cooking isn’t about recipe-following; it's about finding what inspires me.
When I cook, I dance and sing, I am creative, I experiment, and I get excited. I love to share my special techniques and secret ingredients.
My inspiration comes from music, the people in my kitchen, what grows in my garden, and from my diverse background: I played football for University of Montana , and after graduation helped begin the first Thai restaurant in Jackson , Wyoming where I was a ski instructor and rafting guide. Now, in San Francisco, I am in the music biz – I promote concerts and music websites.
I want to help others find their inspiration so that they have as much fun in the kitchen as me!”
